General Council Meeting 6-2015

General / Executive Council Meeting of the Pakistan Taekwondo Federation was held on 13 June 2015 at 18:30 hours, Dream Land Motel, Islamabad. All the affiliated departments including Navy, Air Force, Army, WAPDA, Railways, Police, HEC and all the affiliated provinces including FATA and Gilgit Baltistan participated in GC Meeting.

Development of National Sports Structure Programme – Taekwondo 2015

Pakistan Taekwondo Federation organized Development of National Sports Structure Program – Taekwondo 2015 in different cities of Pakistan. The said course was allocated by International Olympic Committee with the kind efforts of Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Syed Arif Hassan, President Pakistan Olympic Association. The program held from 1 May to 7 June 2015. The main purpose of the courses was to improve knowledge, skill and competence of officials and players at National / International Level. Mr Murtaza Hassan Bangash, Secretary General PTF, International Referee / 6th Dan Master was nominated as Course Director by World Taekwondo Federation and International Olympic Committee to conduct this prestigious program. He was assisted by the following individuals of Pakistan Taekwondo Federation:-

1st Qatar International Open Taekwondo Championship (WTF G1) – 2015

Pakistan Taekwondo Team participated in 1st Qatar International Open Taekwondo Championship (WTF G1), Official Ranking Tournament held from 6 to 9 March 2015 Doha, Qatar.

  • Ghulam Murtaza – (-63 Kg Junior) won Bronze Medal
  • Saaim Sikandar – (-61 Kg Cadet) won Bronze Medal
